This is always the best Vietnamese restaurant place that I like to go to. You can call ahead and they can make it for you and have it on the table so that once you get there, your food is ready if you prefer a quick meal. The people are very kind. Also, a great hole in the wall mom and Pop shop.
There have been some major improvements at Pho One. I thought to stop by to show my other friend who lives in this neighborhood that there's a pho restaurant. I have been reading about Bánh hỏi noodles as a better alternative to the simple rice noodles for Goi Cuon (summer rolls). So, I ordered Bánh Hỏi Thịt Nướng, grilled pork wrap. I may have eaten that way before. But this is going to be my official one. The assembly came with a bowl of hot water (I prefer it warm), plate of vegetables, a plate of meat with more carrots, few sheets of rice paper and a small bowl of fish sauce. First I wet the rice paper from the edge of that hot water bowl. Rotate on the edge for 2 turns. Then, place it on an empty plate. Now, I pack the right amount of lettuce, pickled carrots, cucumber and the protein. Roll it from the edge like a burrito. Dip it in the sauce. And Voila! Time to consume. It was healthy and more fun than those ready-made vermicelli bowls.
Family run restaurant. Food is good and staff is super friendly I get a Banh Mi for my familly every other weeks. Pho is really good too. Highly recommended !

so tasty i love the crunchy egg rolls and the sticky rice. fresh veggies and the workers were very nice, i had a coconut juice it was also very refreshing
